Style Moodboard: Weekender Adventures

  Spending the weekends in lazy dress up clothes(is there such a thing?) & yummy vanilla perfume. Slip on your newest pair of black edge motorcycle boots, pull on your favorite kitty sweater buried in the rest of your favorite sweaters on the wood floor. Lugging around an oversized nude handbag carrying your everyday essentials along with some unnessisory stuff that you think you need. Going to the farmers market in the morning for your favorite organic fruits & veggies. Spending the rest of the day thrifting. Digging in bins, chipping your new favorite nail polish, finding the best treasures. Tiger bead bracelets, floral teacups, & flower pressed glass jewelry box. Ending the day at the movies. Getting lost in the story. Falling in love with that one character. Eating yummy treats. 

That's my favorite way to spend a weekend.

Tearin' Up My Heart

    Buying 13 boxes of Lizzie McGuire Flashy Foil Valentines to send Valentines to yourself so that everyone would think you're most popular.

Yes, I did buy the exact same box of Lizzie McGuire Flashy Foil Valentines in 1st or 2nd grade for the elementary school Valentines party. That's back when school made holidays exciting & stuff.
 But no, back then I didn't have to send Valentines to myself because everyone knew I was popular.
(hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha)

I passed those Lizzie McGuire Valentines out & everyone was so jealous because I had such amazing taste in Valentines cards. I know it. 

Valentines is the best holiday ever because there is so much pink & hearts in every store you walk into. It's like wonderland. The holiday makes me want pizza, wear a pink tutu, eat cake, & write cute love letters covered in glitter to myself. Oh, wait. I always want to do that.

    It's Kate Spade's 20th anniversary, you don't say? Lets celebrate! What better way then with a classic New York themed presentation. NYC, from where it all started. Fun & bright colors to brighten up this New York snow storm! Electric hearts & bows to make even the uptight viewers smile. Replace the dots in polka dots with big apples. A yellow satin bow on the neckline. Kinda like big yellow taxi cabs but with a bow! Top the collection off with a strawberry pink sprinkled doughnut sweater & polka dot(big apple) pants. 

Better catch that taxi...

    I just recently discovered a lovely Etsy shop called I'm Your Present & every time I browse I get hearts in my eyes. The items on there are so cute, I just want everything. My top 4 picks are the Silver Confetti RADICAL necklace, the Gold Mirrored HONEY necklace, the Deerheart earrings, & the Opaque Bouncing Bunnies necklace. I love how unique, cutesy, & well priced everything is. Everything is handmade, which is the way everything should be made. The name is quite clever. It's the perfect place to buy a present for someone or even yourself, hehe. I just adore everything on I'm Your Present & hope to purchase something soon & see if it's just as cute in person as it is online!

Brighten up my day. Put on a washed out pink tutu & a crown on your head. Eat a doughnut dripping in pink frosting for breakfast. Run out the door & explore. Channel your inner Twiggy. Put on your favorite lipstick. Have a pizza date with your friends. Forget all your worries. Take a walk on the positive side of things. Listen to your latest playlist. End the day with a pink bubble bath & a cup of rose tea.
